Lolo Jones, the winner of both the USA championships and the World Champion in hurdles has reached her current standing with lots of effort as well as a lot of perseverance. Born to a single mother with five children, Jones had a difficult and difficult childhood. She lived with her mother at a basement church and was constantly in motion. Jones needed to go to a new high school each year due to her nomadic lifestyle. Jones had to live away from her mother in Theodore Roosevelt School to pursue her love of track. Jones lived with 4 different families to ensure that she was studying at a high level. Jones also played cello in the orchestra of her school. At school, she was awarded the Gatorade Athlete of the Year Award from Iowa Track and Field. Jones began her athletic career in college as one the best hurdlers. At the 2002 NCAA Track & Field Championship she was the winner of the 100-meter hurdles. Jones also was a part of the second team to win the 100-meter relay. Jones was the winner of both indoor and outdoor hurdles event during the NCAA Championship in 2003. Jones completed her education in 2005 began to put in the effort for track. Jones won Torino Memorial in 2005, in addition to Ostrava and Heusden track events in the next year.

The family was raised and born in Cape Town South Africa Brandt relocated with her family Auckland New Zealand in her late teens. After being discovered by local casting directors, Brandt took on the role as Naevia for the Starz hit series Spartacus: Blood and Sand as well as Spartacus: Gods of the Arena. She was one of the most prominent actors in the show, working alongside Steven S. D Knight and Sam Raimi. She was a part of the cult Netflix show Lucifer which had a 6 year run playing the fan favorite Vertigo/DC comic book character Mazikeen. Lucifer was a smash hit and broke the record of binge viewing and was named as the best series to binge in 2021 according to Forbes. Brandt is next seen in a six-episode Walking Dead limited spin-off starring Andrew Lincoln and Danai Giurira, which will air in 2024. She is also starring opposite Jason Ritter Anthony Carrigan and Chris Meloni in the adult animated show Captain Fall which airs July 2023 on Netflix. Lesley Ann Brandt was born on the 2nd of December, 1981, in Cape Town South Africa. Her talent is impressive as a New Zealander actor. Lesley Brandt moved with her entire family of New Zealand into Auckland in 1999. In Auckland, Brandt began as an agent for sales, and later was elevated to the position of an IT consultant. Lesley has performed in numerous commercials after doing a couple of modelling projects. She completed her acting major in 2008 and continued to research Meisner's techniques. Lesley Brandt landed her first important acting role on the screen in New Zealand in TV Drama Diplomatic Immunity. Lesley Brandt made a guest appearance on the New Zealand's television series Shortland Street acting as support actor. In the sequel to this sci-fi series This Is Not My Life she played the town of Waimoana. Lesley Brandt played Naevia in the TV series Spartacus: Blood and Sand. The character was later reprised as the role in Spartacus: Gods of the Arena.
