Alexandra Maria Lara has been an Romanian/German film and television actress for over a decade. Alexandra is known for the roles she played as a character in Rush, Downfall Youth Without Youth Control. Alexandra was the sole daughter of Romanian actor Valentin Platareu. at the age of 16she already landed several television roles, for instance, the lead in the Downfall film Youth Without Youth Control. Following her highly acclaimed performance in the TV film Der Tunnel, Alexandra went into other notable characters like Adolf Hitler's secretary, Traudljunge, in Downfall. This film won an Oscar and received critical and commercial popularity. The Reader, Der Baader Meinhof Komplex as well as The Reader are also Oscar-nominated movies featuring this beautiful diva. Alexandra was involved in a variety of notable national and international projects throughout her career. These comprise British biographical films Control and The Dust of Time as in addition to the French historical miniseries Napoleon.
