Anna Silk

Anna Silk is a Canadian actor who was born on January 31, 1974. Her most well-known role is as Bo in the Showcase television series Lost Girl. Silk is an actor from Canada who was born in Fredericton New Brunswick. Ilkay Silk is the daughter of Peter, an academic and Peter Silk who was an actor as well as a producer, director, writer, teacher, and Director of Drama, St. Thomas University. Her father is British and her mother a Turkish-Cypriot-English expat. Anna holds some of her earliest memories of watching and attending play rehearsals. Silk was featured in a variety of commercials while she was just a child. She earned her Bachelor of Arts was awarded by St. Thomas University, 1997. Theatre St. Thomas produced two of its first productions: Seven Menus, and The Kitchen. Silk made the move to Toronto to pursue her acting career in November 1999. She then, over the decade that followed, she relocated to Los Angeles California. Seth Cooperman was her future partner when she was introduced to him in an actor's workshop in Los Angeles. When she got engaged in 2008, they were married in the year 2009. After she had converted to Judaism, they renew their vows in a Jewish ceremony on April 10, 2011, in Fredericton. Silk gave birth to the son named Samuel Jerome Cooperman in May 2013. Levi Aaron, her second son was born on May 13, 2016. Silk was also nominated 2009 for Gemini Awards in her role as Cassidy Holland. The Canadian series Lost Girl cast her as Bo Dennis, the lead character in the succubus. Silk fell pregnant during the filming of season three's finale. She announced the news to viewers on Showcase's Season Three Pre-Show Special on 6 January 2013. Silk was involved in the production of Lost Girl since the final season episode was conceived on January 6, 2013, announced on Twitter her intention to return June 4th, 2013 as Showcase and Prodigy Pictures began production on fourth season. CNN, Cable News Network and E! have both named Bo (played by Silk) as well as Lauren the actress (Zoie) among their favorite television couple. Entertainment Television.
